Natural Progesterone Cream safety

Here are some more frequently asked questions about Natural Progesterone Cream safety.

1. Is Natural Progesterone a safe way to raise progesterone levels?

Is natural progesterone safe to use, is a most frequently asked question. Here’s what Dr Paul Layman had to comment about Natpro and its possible side effects. He practices in the UK and runs a cancer clinic.

"Natpro is safe as houses as far as I am concerned. People get ill because their systems are out of balance. Bringing the hormones back into balance with progesterone is part of the healing."

2. What are the benefits of progesterone cream?

When you correct a hormonal imbalance such as a progesterone deficiency, your body will begin to re-balance itself. The symptoms that manifest as a result of the imbalance and the ways in which they re-balance themselves are unique to each individual. Remember progesterone is the “master hormone” and once your body is getting enough of it, symptoms that you thought were not even related to hormone imbalances tend to disappear.

This is why Natural Progesterone Creams can appear to be a miracle cure. However, the use of natural progesterone is not a cure-all, but it is a basic building block that in this modern day many people find themselves lacking.

When the body is in balance, health is its natural state.

Because there are so many benefits to using natural progesterone I’ve dedicated an entire web page to them. Click here for full details.

3. What is the difference between natural progesterone vs progestin?

Confusion exists between the words progesterone and progestogen or progestin. Progesterone is a natural hormone made by the body and which is now being made from the plant extract diosgenin or stigmasterol. Progestogen and progestin, on the other hand, are synthetic hormones (with a molecular structure that differs from that of progesterone) used by the drug companies in oral contraceptives and HRT in preference (for commercial reasons) to the natural hormone. The contra-indications, precautions, and adverse reactions of these synthetics hormones make for horrifying reading.

4. If Natural Progesterone is as amazing as it sounds, why hasn’t my Doctor told me about it?

I do not believe that anyone going into medical practice decided to do so as a way to harm or misguide people. Doctors often come up at the short end of the stick when the negative effects of things like estrogens and synthetic progestins etc start coming to light. The simple fact of the matter is they know no better!

Natural Progesterone supplementation is not taught in medical school. Therefore, when discussed with conventionally trained doctors they do not fully comprehend progesterone's functions. Nor do they realize the dangerous consequences of prescribing synthetic hormones such as Progestins and branded drugs.

On-going ‘education’ is provided to Doctors by major pharmaceutical companies who obviously have an interest in the synthetic patented products. They play down the negative side effects and tout its benefits.

The reason that the pharmaceutical companies are not singing the praises of Natural Progesterone from the rooftops is because it is natural and therefore – it cannot be patented! Because it can’t be patented it can’t be monopolized and therefore they won’t touch it, endorse it or recommend it because – there are no big profits involved!
